Head of Corporate Secretary of BRI Life, Hardy Nurhadi, said that his company hoped that this program could help prevent the spread of the coronavirus among the people. "We hope that through this program we can make a real contribution to the people of Indonesia in efforts to prevent the spread of the coronavirus which is currently a hot issue in various regions of the world," Hardy said through his written statement, Thursday (27/2).
Through this collaboration, BRI Life participated in the procurement of 1 (one) million antiseptic mask and soapbox which spent a total of IDR 100 billion, where the social action is planned to last for 3 (three) months. The funds collected for the purchase of masks will soon be distributed to many areas potentially affected by the coronavirus such as Batam, Manado, Java, Sumatra, North Kalimantan and other regions in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, PMI Chairperson, Muhammad Jusuf Kalla, stressed that all parties must always be ready if this virus enters Indonesia. "We must always be ready if this virus enters Indonesia just as it happened in other countries, and we must help the government preventively mitigate the effects of the coronavirus," he said.
